I guess I took about a 2 month unintentional break from the blog recently as I was enjoying the holidays with my family, and each day just got away from me. Some of that time may have been a little laziness on my part, ha. That’s allowed though, right?? Howeverrr.. in the meantime, I’ve had SO many projects twirling around in my head, I’m excited to get started on them! But first, the most exciting thing I have to share – my husband got me the Cricut Explore Air for Christmas! AHH!! This thing is amazing, people. It can cut over 60 different materials, including aluminum cans, birch wood, and leather! What?! I can literally cut and print my own leather bracelet in less than 5 minutes. My hubby did really good, I love this machine. Once I learn the ropes more, I’ll create a post about the ins & outs of what it can do.
What if you could sign up for a free trial that let’s you choose 5 stylish frames to try for 5 days? Well… hold onto your glasses, guys, because Warby Parker is the place for you! I was recently contacted by the Brand Team of Warby Parker to collaborate with their #FallSyllabus campaign. I was excited to participate for a few reasons. Warby Parker partners with non-profit organizations like VisionSpring to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is donated to someone in need. I love that! Another perk is that they have so many different options of frames to choose from, which makes it really hard to narrow down just 5. They’re also very affordable; plus plus! Fun fact: celebrities Ryan Gosling, Ashton Kutcher, and Olivia Wilde have been know to sport these snazzy frames. I needed to get my hands on some of them for myself so I signed up for their Home Try-On program to give them a go.
I’m so excited to roll out my first typography downloadable print! Gallery walls have become wildly popular and these adorable lyrics would be a perfect addition for nurseries, office spaces, or however else you wish to display them. If you love the tall and skinny look, this graphic is for you!
I just adore my garden gnome! I snagged him up at our local At Home store a few summers ago. Isn’t he just the cutest with his hands behind his back? I had to name him David. If you’ve ever watched David the Gnome as a kid on the Nickelodeon channel, you get me… haha. Since the front of our house faces east, this poor little guy tends to get sun bleached quite often. Perfect time for a makeover!
