Breakfast at Tiffany’s Birthday

Hello darlings! I took a little break from the blog lately because I’ve been crafting my little hiney off for Livi’s upcoming birthday in April. Since I’m in “party mode”, I thought I’d share her 3rd birthday theme details with you all! I’ve been a fan of Audrey Hepburn for as long as I can remember. I’ve seen so many “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” themed parties on Pinterest, I couldn’t wait to do one for Livi. I decked out all the decor with Tiffany blue, black damask, and a little bit of bling. We cooked up a yummy brunch of breakfast foods (obviously), it all came together so elegantly. And oh my goodness, you guys.. Livi’s photo shoot that year was one of my absolute favorites. She was too precious in her black tutu, pearls and shades. I’m excited to share my twist on “Breakfast at Olivia’s”.

CRICUT: DIY Halloween Confetti, Toppers, & Pennants

Halloween is almost here –  only a week away! As those parties are also approaching quickly, I created some FREE & easy last minute DIY Cricut creations using my Cricut Explore Air. I hand drew 4 different confetti designs, and created a couple of cupcake toppers. Also included is a free Hocus Pocus themed print to compliment your shindig. You’ll recognize “Dead Man’s Toe” if you’re a fan of the movie when the witch Sarah chants it repeatedly in the background during the first 5 minutes of the film. It’s a special key ingredient for a potion the 3 sisters need to be young and beautiful again. Intrigued yet? Come take a closer look and grab yourself some freebies!

Homemade Emoji Sprinkles

Happy National Ice Cream and World Emoji Day! In honor of them both, I came up with a cute idea to merge the two together. What pairs well with ice cream? Sprinkles, of course! How perfect are these teeny tiny emojis? I whipped up a batch of fondant (don’t worry, it’s super easy!) then just cut out these little cuties using a circular piping tip. With my very small tipped paint brush and a few Wilton Icing Colors, I created mini emoji sprinkles. Check out this fun tutorial!

Let’s Be Mermaids Birthday

Hi, readers! I recently got Livi’s birthday photos and I’m so excited to show you all her party decor! My little mini and I have a deep love for mermaids.. My obsession started very young with “The Little Mermaid” (obviously), which naturally rubbed off on Livi as a little babe. She really wanted to be Ariel for Halloween last year and shortly after, requested numerous times for a mermaid party. Of course I was thrilled, so I was all about it! Since I didn’t want to limit myself to planning around a “character themed” party, I chose “classic mermaid” instead. I painted a piece for my daughter’s room when I redecorated it two years ago, and that’s where I gathered my inspiration from.  Here’s how I planned this little mermaid shindig!
