Our second visit to the Hope Outdoor Gallery did not disappoint! My bestie and I were in need of an updated photo sesh together and this place was the perfect backdrop. I’m obsessed with the endless walls of colorful street art. We got to explore the top section, unlike my first visit there because it was too rainy & muddy. Check out my last post to see how much it’s changed. There is always always something new and cool to discover here!
You guys!! I never win anything on the internet, so it was a super exciting day when Kelly from Studio DIY! announced me as the winner of her first taco clutch. I’m pretty sure I squealed out loud when I saw she tagged me on Instagram.
It gets so busy during the holidays with all the hustle and bustle, it really makes quality family time all the more precious. When I say “quality” time, I mean when it’s not interrupted by an 8-5 schedule, over-time and late hours, errands to be ran, and a house to keep kept. Even though we’re a work at home family, actual quality time isn’t always obtainable. We try to do a fun outing together at least once a week so we’re always looking for new things to experience. Last weekend, we visited The Grove for their first Winter Festival and we had the best time with Livi! All of the kiddos got to have milk & cookies with Santa and story time with Mrs. Claus. Not only was it super exciting for her, my husband and I have been wanting to visit again for a while now so it was a treat for us too. This place is so chic and breathtaking — see for yourself and have a little look inside our day!
I’m super excited to post about visiting the Hope Outdoor Gallery in Austin! I’ve been wanting to see this ever-changing graffiti park for a while now, and I finally got the chance last weekend. You guys… it’s amaaazing! There are so many vibrant colors everywhere you look. Even the leaves and cacti were graffitied! It’s so cool to see layers upon layers of art overlapping each other from multiple artists. It rained the weekend we were there, which made the colors really pop but also made a good amount of mud puddles that we had to maneuver around like ninjas. With a 4 year old atop my hubby’s shoulders, we weren’t able to see the upper levels. Bummer, but maybe next time! My bestie was also by my side while we oohed and aahed in every direction. If you’re planning a trip to Austin soon, this place is a definite must see!
