Merry Christmas Eve! I meant to post this much much sooner, but it’s been so crazy around here lately. Before we leave town tomorrow and before Christmas is over and all of the decor goes back in the attic, I wanted to share a mini tour of our decorations. As you’ll notice, I’m pretty obsessed with gingerbread. They are definitely the basis of my “theme” throughout our home. I just can’t resist the cuteness. Come on in!
I have been waiting SO long to complete this DIY project, and it’s finally done! *happy dance* Seriously y’all.. I’ve had the materials in my guest closet for quite a few months now, minus the MDF board. Believe it or not, I never had the time to just go out and purchase one on the fly. My husband and I both work from home with an 8-5 schedule and a 4 year old. Life gets hectic and this DIY required some planning! I was also a little worried that it might not fit in our little Mazda 3, but I had a free weekend and it fit in the trunk with the seats down. YES! I’m excited to share all the details! All in all, the costs for this project was very reasonable. Compared to buying one brand new at around $400, this DIY saved me about $300. Not bad at all!
Today is National Coffee Day! To celebrate, I thought I would post about the recent changes I’ve made to my coffee station. Since my hubby doesn’t drink coffee, I styled this little corner just for me. Coffee is pretty much the first thing on my mind when I wake up for the day. And for that reason alone, I believe it’s important to accentuate the things you love.. right?? So, here’s the before & after plus a few ideas I’ve played around with. See anything you like? Ask me if I haven’t linked it below. Happy National Coffee Day to you all, go get your drink on!
My husband and I have worked from home for a few years now, so an office area is a big necessity for both of us. While he has his desk set up in our guest room, I’ve got the back corner of the living room. Since starting my blog, I quickly realized how badly I needed some extra work space. Compared to my teeny tiny “before” desk, I’m way happy with this one. Check out how all of the details for my new home office came together!
